RoofTop Mural in Roswell

Southern Post Apartments. 53’ Mural, Spray paint and exterior acrylic paint on concrete.

Rooftop in Roswell

I had a great time working on the mural project commissioned by Amy Parry Projects and Southern Post Apartments for their rooftop pool on the 5th floor. The expansive 53-foot wall provided the perfect canvas for me to craft a design that not turned out beautiful but also incorporated elements inspired by the Roswell, GA area.

This project was particularly enjoyable for me because it was close to my house, its scenic poolside location, and the convenient accessibility that allowed me to paint at my own pace.

I met some awesome people while painting, and I am grateful for the opportunity to transform that previously blank wall into a captivating piece of art. For those interested in enlivening their spaces with a bespoke mural, feel free to reach out to Tindel for more information.

This photo means a lot to me. My kids came to fill in the cracks on the outline (I hate that part). The color of the photo came out perfect and they saved me a few hours of work.

Photos documenting the progress of the mural.

I started by creating the drawing on my iPad, then projected it onto the wall to outline the image with spray paint. Over the next few days, I filled in the colors using spray paint. Once that was done, I outlined the entire drawing with exterior paint to create a sharp, eye-catching outline. Take a look at the photos below to follow along with the process.
