Intergalactic Caucasian Primitivism

By |September 16th, 2014|

I will call it “Intergalactic Caucasian Primitivism.” just ’cause.

Here is what I am trying to do? The paintings are just leftovers from the exciting adventure that is the process.  Trying to take the best parts of the last 12+ years of creative process and reuse/combine/distort the techniques I have developed, learned and adopted.  These layered techniques are […]

By |November 1st, 2013|

Did it again this year at Art, Beats & Lyrics.  Had to paint over my old design… that sucked a bit. Then, I started with a little too clean and modern design, but wasn’t quite funky enough for this event. So I created letters that I handcut out of tape on wood.  Spray painted the […]

Book Cover Illustration

By |April 25th, 2013|

“Needs a few more chickens.”

I guess I overlooked the fact that I will have a painting on a book cover about to be published because it is my grandma, Murriel Meadows, book.  She has been writing it for the last 20 years, and it is about her Dad & Grandad and the travel to […]

Art Journal: Corporate Art Heart Throb

By |September 6th, 2013|

I am on a contract gig in the corporate world, creating something quite unique for a big company.  I love doing this kind of job, because I get to use the opposite of my painting creativity.  Tindel + UX = Tindelux.  Creativity in minimal mass information organization. The job has gotten me to try a […]

Art Journal 1.6.13

By |January 6th, 2013|

I have been enjoying this woodburning stuff.  Think I will start something a little bigger and more sculptural using this in the making.  Also, cleaning out studio and finding the paintings that I want to either paint over, or add to with some of the new elements I have been using.  Word.
